Hzhou (modern Zhejiang province)
Child prodegy who apparently spoke at five months and read the Confucian Analects and Book of Odes at three years old. While many men had misgivings about her talent, Emeror Taizong invited her to court and become a "lady of talents" to develop her literary skill.
