Biography

Ise no Taifu is named amongst the Thirty-six Female Poetry Immortals and has work represented in a number of imperial anthologies. She is particularly well represented within the Goshui Wakashu, in which she has twenty seven poems. One of her poems is also included in the Hyakunin Isshu (One Hundred Poems by one hundred poets.)
